Got a email last night from JB. A DTW reduction bid for 31 Captains and 29 FO's. Along with that was FLL vacancy bid for the same.

Looks like they might have jumped the gun and can't close DTW as quick as they had hoped.

You have to login to the new remote access emplyoee website.

The company is now only sending out some of that stuff via the Spirit email system and hat is the only way to check it.

Look for
Base Reduction Bid 7-14 and 7-15
Base Vacancy Bid 7-14 and 7-15

I read that reduction bid. So ONLY 29 FOs and 31 Captains are being displaced in October? The original email from the compay said that all flying for October would originate out of FLL. The reduction bids need to followed up with more info about the future of DTW.

I got the emails for the 7-14 and 7-15 bids but where are the vacancy bids 07-11, 07-12, 07-13 that are mentioned in the most recent crewmessage.

They came out about a week ago. It is 3 Captain upgrade bids for FLL. If I remember correctly the first 2 bids are for 4 upgrades each and the last is for 8. 16 total.

Does the company even have a plan yet, or are they winging it? If there is a plan in place, why haven't we heard anything from our union yet?
