It seemed like the senior guys were the only solid block opposed to the TA. Now that they are being taken care of, what block will be opposed?

There are still some doubters about the length of the contract; there are still some who question the utility of PTO's; there are some who don't like the longer seat locks, but I don't see any major opposition?

Anyone?

I don't have the numbers yet, however, last night in the union meeting we were told that there is now a year 15, 16, 17 if you are in an airplane over 40,000 pounds.

The thing to remember about these pay scales is that they are BASE. I don't know of anyone not making 10% more (I'm around 17%) with ONLY hourly OT and holiday pay.

That 10% does not count working extra days, after midnight returns, per diem or anything like that. If you go to work on your sked days and come home on your sked days you will make at least 10% above those rates.

Under this IBB you will be able to sell 7 of 12 days of your sick time (PTO) days back at 110%. For a senior guy that would be another 8-12k on top of the 10% and base pay.

Under this IBB you will be able to sell 7 of 12 days of your sick time (PTO) days back at 110%.

Just for clarification, one can sell back up to 12 days earned during the previous calendar year. If one sells back 5 to 12 days, the company pays 110% of the crewmember's current daily rate. When selling back 1 to 4 days, the buy-back rate falls to 75% of the crewmember's current daily rate.

That's contained in section 10.6(B) of the IBB proposal.
