For the most part, the hiring at NJI is over (off the street). If your name has not been in the hat for some time now, and you don't have a sponsor, you will not even get close, before all the pilots start coming from the A side. The word is, they already have pilots in the pool and will have only ONE more interview class for next year.
The party is OVER for new hires off the street.:bawling:
The next best thing is to try and get in NJA.

Wow, if you'll NEVER see the left seat of a G, who is going to fly it? the guy in the right seat? The left seat person has to come from somewhere. So your telling me that if I worked for NJ for 20 years, I'll never see the left seat?

Doyle, you arent listening. IF you get hired at NJI between now and 12/08, and IF the pilot groups are merged in a couple years, THEN, yes, you will NEVER see the left seat of a G, because ALL the pilots at NJA will be senior to you and thus in the left seat of the G before you. All 3000 of them.

Alot of IFs in there.

You make it sound like seniority is a bad thing. :cartman:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but who cares now if you fly a G-V or an Ultra (from an NJA point of view), everyone gets paid the same (minus BBJ) until year 12 anyways, and by then their will be a new contract...

am I way off on this

Nope. You hit the nail on the head.

The only people this will be lost on is the "my plane is bigger so its gots to be better" crowd.

As an Ultra driver, I have to say there may be some validity to that statement.

Steak? I thought it was Indian food at the Taj Mahal 2 in Harpenden.

That way we both lose. I have to pay and you never leave the can. :)

We actually found some good Indian food by the Daze inn Luton. But we raised so much Helll about that hotel I doubt we will stay there again. So what about the SC lawsuit?

RTRHD and Diesel,

Please don't tell you have trouble finding good indian food in England? ;)

No it all tastes good going in. Its coming out that tends to rate some restaurants better than others.
