Well I finally got the phone call this morning. Linda called and since I wanted LAX, she offered me the XL or 800 for October 9th, or the XL and Sovereign for October 23rd. I ended up taking the XL on October 9th. I've heard it's a great airplane, and the extra cash will be nice. I think the variety of flying will probably be the greatest of the XL too, but I don't know. I just went with it. Seems like there are good and bad about every aircraft. So the XL seemed like the middle of the road.

I appreciate everyone suggestions and I'm extremely excited about starting. I feel like Oct 9th will never arrive! lol Look forward to working with you all out on the line shortly! Ciao!

Congratulations there Dr. Suess. I think that you will like the Excel/XLS. And that differences pay is good to have as well.

When did you submit your resume and how long did the whole process take? From resume to getting an app to getting an interview to being offered the job?

thanks

Congrats Dr. Seuss! Sounds like you couldn't have made a bad choice out of those options, but going for the earlier start date was definitely wise.

Welcome to NetJets Dr. Seuss! Good call on the Excel and earlier start date. I've missed vacations and 7 and 7 lines by fewer numbers. I hope your commute isn't too long into LAX. That could be a drag.

Congrats and welcome aboard. Going into the XL is probably a good choice and im sure the money will help - but man do they make you guys earn it. Every XL crew I run into has horror stories about 14/10/14/10/14/10 fatigue and repeat. Still, looks like a nice ride from what I have seen of it im sure you will like it here.

LOL... wow I had no idea I'd get such a negative response to that. Well the reason why I'm asking is because I interviewed at NJ last week
LJR

If you interviewed there last week and really wanted to work there, wouldn't you know that information already? Do a little investigation on what you're about to subject yourself to. You should rather ask the NutJet people about their sucky QOL. Good luck with you're career at at NJ, you're gonna need it!

Bogart, sound a little envious of NJA people. You work at CS huh. Sounds like Netjets didn't hire you. Good thing, I can only imagine being stuck on a 7 day tour with you. "Sucky QOL".....how exactly does my QOL at Netjets differ from the QOL at CS? I think Netjets is the best thing going in the airline business right now. Again I ask you please tell me how your QOL at CS is better than mine at NJA.

The funny part is most of the shares pilots I run into are very nice people, yet this bogart wannabee is an asss, I don't think he really works at shares, I think he just likes to run his mouth.
