Every Citation Shares pilot I've run into in FBOs has been a class act. That means I have never run into Humpmywetfart.

Well if, flying a Falcon 2000, having four (21 day) vacations a year, for at or better than industry average salary/benefits, for a profitable company, constitutes a "sucky QOL" then I guess I should feel sorry for myself...... Somehow, I don't.

Bogart, you can bite me.

You should still feel sorry for yourself. Remember, you are a highly trained professional pilot. You work long days and are gone from your family for endless days. You/we will never be compensated fairly. We need to always fight for more.

I voted "no" and I'll bet anything you voted "yes". Does that tell you anything?

I still will never feel sorry for myself. If I wasn't happy with my employment, I would not still be here.

My advice was going to be take the first class available, but looks like you already did. Congrats and welcome!

OT baby! :D

All joking aside... I'm just curious how long have people been waiting to get their training done in various fleets.

OT? How's this: show at home Day 1, 0400 local. That's 4 hrs OT (while sleeping, no less). On standby at home until 1600 local, then shutdown. Another 3 hrs OT. Then at least one day per tour where they forget to shut you down at 14 hrs. You call in at 14:30 to remind them, 2.5 hrs OT. 9.5 hrs OT per tour (while chilling at home, getting "honey-dos" done, etc), repeat until company gets their act together and gets you through training. Oh, and don't forget those holidays you'll be sitting at home as well.

Cha-ching!! :D :D :D

Dunno about fleet wait times - heard the X and XL are pretty backed up.

So, I finally get to chat with God's gift to aviation. Still don't have it as good as we do at CS. Why don't you just bite me? It hurts to be second best, doesn't it, Kid?
BTW, do you still have to swap schedules on the weekend? Kinda sux not ever having a weekend off, doesn't it?

LOL... thankfully I won't be working with you.

I'm glad I'm not working with you either, one fish, two fish, red fish,
blew fish. Just get used to saying I'll take coffee, ice, and papers for the next 5 years, Kid.

Bogart,

I was listening in on a conversation with two CS pilots today. They were saying that sometimes when you dont fly but are on duty in HPN, that you have to come in and clean the CS offices, mow the lawns outside your offices, and trim hedges. Man, I thought asking for coffee, ice and papers for only 5 years as you say was bad, but THAT would suck. Just curious, you guys using a toro or lawnboy for the grass? I can only hope that CS at least gives you an electric hedge trimmer....but with that big pay raise we got yah, I am guessing they can only afford the manual trimmer. They were bitching not because they had to mow, but because they had to pay for the gas and oil for the mower as well.

Hopefully that was just a smart retort without an iota of truth. ROFL doesn't begin to describe how funny that was. Toro huh? You were kidding weren't you GR?

Yes dude, I'm just kidding. I'm patiently waiting for Bogart to run into that though.

Rocker,

Now you know that you and I have a history of conflicting posts, but I must say that you really made me laugh at this one! The next beer is on me...but not till after I clean off the Lawnboy. BTW, we use Toro's!

Well I finally got the phone call this morning. I ended up taking the XL on October 9th. I've heard it's a great airplane, and the extra cash will be nice. I appreciate everyone suggestions and I'm extremely excited about starting. I feel like Oct 9th will never arrive! lol Look forward to working with you all out on the line shortly! Ciao!

LJR

Congratulations, LJR! My husband is one of the pilots with good things to say about the XL, the variety of flying, and staying busy.
I hope your transition to NJA goes smoothly.
Best of Luck!

Let's hope there aren't any mgmt types at any company reading this thread. That would be a major promotion idea for some ladder climber. Shhhh!
