Anyone know if the calls for the next round of interviews have went out? I know they did 2 days of interviews in July but when are the August ones? Anyone got the call for them yet?

Hoping and praying for one of those calls......

I was told that they notify you via email, but I don't know for sure. I too would be interested in when folks are getting the message and when interviews are going to be.

Getting the pool filled for around 60 newhires starting October 06 and finishing in Mar-Apr 07.

**RUMOR**: 120 more new hires after that. I have been hearing this in the crew lounge.

Update often and make sure you correct any typos.

Does it seem that most of the Frontier newhires are ones who have been given a 'silver bullet' or had internal recs? I would love to fly for them but don't know anyone on the inside. Thanks.

Silver bullet or the "leash" is a BIG PLUS. The majority who are interviewing have a SB :)

We do have interviewees without the SB. I think diligence is the key plus an outstanding resume.

Good luck!

Ahhh yea, i suppose it really is 'who ya know' for every airline in thie industry. I just have some right seat jet time, so im no space shuttle pilot. Well, the app is in and it won't hurt to update it! Thanks.

I dont think space shuttle pilots apply to Frontier, they apply to Fedex and SWA.

To be competitive without a Silver Bullet, try to get some Turbine PIC (easier said then done). AND UPDATE< UPDATE....!!!!

Dont worry, I have seen guys hired with the absolute minimums. You never know until you try.

Right now the average candidate has a minimum of 700 pic turbine (not to discourage you, we have hired lower time pilots). And a ton of CRJ Jet time.
or they are military pilots. The highest time pilot I have seen hired had 12000 hours (again hours dont mean much as long as you have the minimums)\\

Once you get the interview, DONT BE A POLITICIAN, Be yourself. Remember, you are interviewing us as a future employer too. The last thing we want is for you to be an unhappy employee. That is why it is important for you to come in being yourself.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the Update.............hopefully that rumor is true :)

Does anyone have any clue on how to make the resume thing work on AirlineApps for Frontier? I copied it into the system and it looked all messed up. I then spent the time to make it look correct on the page and saved it. The next time I went back it was just as bad as before.

Does anyone have any hints on why it does not want to upload correctly or how it looks from Frontier's end when they go to view it?

It was trial and error for me. I posted it and then when you review it you can go in and tweak it to make it line up. Good luck.

Has anyone gotten called or emailed about an interview???

Don't sweat the Airlineapps resume section as it is sometimes difficult to get it all matched up. Nothing prints out on their end anyway. When you get the e-mail for the interview, print out your resume and bring several copies with you. They will give you a copy of the Airlineapps information you posted for you to review and edit as necessary. Also, take note to everything AnimalTale has to say. He has higher knowledge as to the interview process.
If you have a Silver Bullet, abuse that person and make sure you stay in constant contact with that person weekly. That Silver Bullet will mentor you thru the interview process and throughout the one-year probation period when hired. According to one of the Asst. Chief Pilots, 7000 hours is competitive and only those with Silver Bullets are getting put in the to-be-called pile. Good luck to all trying as Frontier is truly worth the wait. She misses you :) Hows Candy?

Anyone know if this is true.....a friend of mine that works at Frontier heard that they have filled the classes for fall and that no more interviews will be happening until January. Anyone have some inside scoop? Hope this is not true. I am checking my email multiple times a day hoping to get an invite for an interview.
