Well there went all the good LAX overnights.
If there were good overnights there before, I didn't know about it!! How do I get one of those cushy jet schedules?

Did you stay at Airport Rad or the Westside Rad? Coz there are more things to do on the Westside.
Kana does good work...I'll have to remember when I go in for my next piercing.

Viva la Skew!!!
Both. It's not there wasn't stuff to do, it's just that there wasn't any time to do it. In at 10p, out at 7a. Good times.

Obviously they want to get the higher paid RJ captains to take the time off. A majority of the EMB pilots and RJ FOs don't qualify for the program.
I could see them running a class or two for EMB newhires, but upgrades and RJ FOs are probably done till next summer.
Latest company newsletter shows two -900's coming online in december....haha...got me there. We are not going to get new planes for a 359days

now official...SKW LAX base...sorry XJT guys
Yeah. It looks like they're going to close and combine some of the smaller California bases.
All the kool aid must of given him a brain freeze thinking they were getting a DAL base.
As of 10 minutes ago, here is the seniority needed to get into LAX: (sure to lower as more senior folks check their e-mail)
Capt. - 8/21/03
F/O - 10/22/07
A bunch of those are transitions...I assume the company has to run classes for transitions?
I'd be surprised. It's not like we're short of RJ pilots. It would be uncharacteristic of Skywest to spend money training people they don't need, especially when they don't know yet how many are taking early outs and vol. leave.
