Not suggesting anyone disclose confidential information, but it would be interesting to know the type of pilots who accepted an offer and what offer it was. Are senior guys retiring? Junior guys taking it as "better than nothing"? Mid level guys looking for an extended vacation? One year more popular than three? Will their departure create a training logjam, or was it across all platforms?

Just curious......

Disappointed

I am disappointed that B19 and his short list of follow naysayers from the same short bus are not here. I thought they would have come on and said that they were wrong or something like that.

Anyone remember on the TV show HAPPY DAYS when the Fonz was wrong and how he said the word? Well I picture B19 and the other cheap shoot artists here to say they were wrong as the Fonz did.

UPS did it now the pilot group at NJA/NJI pulled it off too. It set a new standard that maybe will help out other fracs and pilot groups within this crazy industry.

yeah i suprised that UPS would take our idea and make it work there too.

no b19, I told ya i b1tch slapped managers a lot tougher than him.

Kudos to the UPS pilots for making the furlough mitigation program work there, but let's give credit where credit is due. Broke has it right. UPS borrowed (quite happily and gratefully, no doubt) the idea from NJASAP. I'm glad it worked at UPS and I hope others are able to benefit, as well.

Why would you be surprised, Broke? NJASAP has a good reputation and it's obvious that much thought went into the Voluntary Measures. It was a lot faster for the UPS guys to pick up the NJ blueprint and make a few modifications instead of designing something from scratch.

Regarding the fudspinner, I think he saw the writing on the wall and has slithered off so that he wouldn't have to swallow a flock of crows...:p When he begged Fud & Harassment for a new assignment all he got was a broken promise. Soooo....B19's currently taking an unpaid LOA to find a suitable Union contract...:D
