I do think the USAirway pilots got screwed, but what do you expect from them.... they treated the ALG and PDT pilots like $h!t, and know they are on the receiving end.... karma's a B!tch....

As far as the "experience" comment, that is typical legacy pilot BS.... they think they are better than everyone.... AWA is just a big regional in their eyes...

Having worked for HP and now working at what some would call a Legacy airline...HP was a regional airline. Regional is based on perspective. Ok so you went from BOS to LAS. In todays flying that is regional. Now you are global (kinda) and you should be working for an indusrty leading contract. Although with the desparity amongst your group you aren't going to get anything. The east guys are way too pissed to let you guys get anything. The popular vote is going to kill you with your negotiations unless your some form of combined mec takes a leadership role and combine the efforts of the now merged list. You can sit here and say this and that, but you are both going to lose if you don't get your heads out from the gained seniority (loss) list a$$es.

Good luck...we are not counting on you.

Back when I was a TWA pilot I jumpseated on US Air from Seattle to PIT. When I went up to ask the Capt. for a ride he said " boy you guys are really getting screwed by American ain't ya. But I guess you deserve it for the way you treated the Ozark guys." Now being a former Allegheny pilot I recognized this as US Air hospitality. I smiled and said "gee sir I wouldn't know considering I was in grade school when that whole thing went down." He said " trust me, you guys fu*%$@ em!" I said" thanks for the ride." As I walked out of the cockpit I could only hope someday he would get the shaft. I hope he hasn't retired yet.

You're right, Captain Ray. Why, U S Airways and its predecessors have killed almost as many passengers as America West has hauled.

 Be sure to count destinations in Mexico! It's like they speak a whole different language there!!

That's pretty funny. TWA did screw the Ozark guys by giving them DOH, putting most of them toward the bottom of the list. That was, essentially what the US east wanted to do to the west folks. Give them DOH, putting them mostly at the bottom. I wonder how this guy reconciles this in his mind -I mean, you can't have it both ways. This is why DOH is NOT ALPA policy.

they should have taken their experience and seniority to the unemployment office instead...now listen to them....what other airline has made it off BOTH ends of La Guardia??...bring that to the table...

Madam:
What would be your date of hire at AWA?

There you go again with DOH. Gee I wonder why it was removed from the merger policy wording?

Scope? You're one of those idiots that twenty years ago a friend of mine at American was arguing with. I remember him saying he couldn't seem to make all these self centered @sses understand why one seniority list would work better than scoping. Hope you enjoy swimming in the sh!t soup you've helped to create, I know I don't.
