New SWA April 13th Class

Folks,

Kim U. called me today inviting me to the new April 13th class (moved up from the April 20th class). She said 20 people were in the April 13th class and the April 20th class is still on. So much for slowing down!

Only 2 announced classes at this point...the 20 April class got moved up...that's all for now.

I've also been called for the 13th (originally the 20th) The person that called me said " We've decided to add an additonal class to april and were wondering if you'd like to come down a week early"

3 classes in April would be extremely nice because it moves me up a notch... I was just selected in the last DB and I was told to expect an end of summer or beginning of fall start date. We'll see...I can tread water in this pool for a long time!

That is great news...hadn't heard of the 3rd class, if indeed that is what is happening....I'll work on confirming that but thanks for the additional insight...wouldn't be the first time I was off by a mile!!! Keeping me straight takes quite a few folks...add your name to the list!!!

Interesting because I was selected in the early Feb. DB and was told Aug. - Oct. I think things are changing faster than I can keep up with.

Do ya'll think the Training Dept might have split one April class in half in order to spread out training a bit? There might be the same number of people in training for the month of April, just split into three classes instead of two.

Confirmed there are 3 classes in April....not sure on the size but it makes for some interesting speculatoin....there is new information out there that shows a printed scheduled with classes TBD through Dec with classes "tentatively" scheduled through that timeframe....April dates are hard, unsure about the others but the let up in training at least based upon April appears to be only temporary....that will drain the pool a little quicker than I thought but again what do I know, obviously not much but again don't bet the house on a date that hasn't been announced yet...I'm sure the folks at the PD will contact the appropriate folks in sufficient time to give you plenty of notice to clear your personal affairs up so be patient but for now the news looks good...congrats again & this will bode well for possible interviews cranking back up early in the summer hopefully....anyone interviewed at this point on though I would suspect not to plan on anything until next year.....a rough guestimate of around 200 folks in the pool already screened & selected would indicate they have enough folks to fill up most of the slots for the rest of this year but again don't bank on the word of a measely FO!!!! Spring has sprung...don't forget to set your clocks back this weekend!!! no pilot has ever forgotten that have they? cheers,
