If you have a family, you need to subtract $6000 per year for healthcare in a good year. YOU are responsible for your entire medical cost at jetblew.

Again, this is not true. You really need to start dealing in facts vs. trying to do whatever it is you are trying to do. Also you should work on your reading and comprehension skills. The guy asking the question obviously works at Spirit. He just wants to know our pay rates so he can compare them to what Spirit should expect in the future. Our health care is not an issue for him

If you were junior at jB and had the chance to go to SWA would you go? (considering the long upgrade time and merger strife at SWA)

As of today yes. At the end of 2015 if we are close to a ratified CBA and a 3000 pilot group with most likely a new management team. I don't think so. Gotta make the best decisions you can at the time you have that info though.

I don't have a history of making particularly good decisions in this business. There have been a lot of regrets over the years. Guess I should've added, 40 years old, family, commute from the Midwest (and can't move for about four more years).

If you are looking for movement jetblue.
If you want a known cba/union Southwest.

I will stick with blue, now if major called me( they won't)
I would most likely go.
I think if executed right jetblue can do very well or we fall apart and someone swoops in to pick up what's left.

Would you leave an eternal (ie 9+ year and no reasonable outlook to upgrade any time soon) FO position at a fractional to go to JetBlue?

Thanks. Apparently I opened a hugh j ass can of worms. Sorry bout that, just wanted to see rates were to get an idea what Spirit is going to be looking at in 2015

Don't sweat it, every new thread on this board with JetBlue in the subject line is opening a new huge can of worms.

Try starting a thread titled "JetBlue is against clubbing baby seals" and you will get the same 5 guys telling you that logic clearly dictates that baby seals must die at the hands of humans with clubs and if you don't support that you are a lemming, sheep, tool, shill, etc. If we get a CBA, everyone will have the contractual right to club baby seals.
