ATA Airlines to Double the Number of Round-Trip Flights Between Indianapolis and Chicago-Midway

INDIANAPOLIS, March 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ATA (ATA Airlines, Inc., Nasdaq: ATAH) is making business travel easier and more convenient between Indianapolis and Chicago. Today the carrier announced that beginning June 1, 2004, ATA will double its service between these two cities from eight to 16 round-trips, Monday through Friday. The shuttle service is the latest way ATA is becoming the easier, more convenient way to fly for business and leisure travelers. Flights will be offered on the Saab 340B aircraft, featuring all- leather seats and large overhead bins. Passengers can book travel today.

ATA also announced it will operate 13 flights a week to Ft. Myers from Indianapolis. This nearly doubles the carrier's capacity to Ft. Myers compared to last summer's schedule.
Flights from Indianapolis to Chicago will run hourly from 5:15 a.m. to 8:15 p.m., Monday through Friday. Return flights from Chicago to Indianapolis will run hourly from 6:45 a.m. to 8:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, and again at 10:45 p.m. With the additional flights, ATA passengers traveling from Indianapolis will have better access to the more than 40 connections ATA offers out of Chicago-Midway.
ATA recently announced that it will begin offering business class on its jet service system-wide by the fourth quarter of 2004.
