What's so bad about the scheduling?Plug said:We are losing an average of 25 a month. They need to do something. I'm out on parole at 2359 Thursday. Everyone I talk to seems to have interviews coming up or have already turned in their 2 weeks notice (for scheduling to abuse you!!!!!). I would expect even more classes throughout the summer and in to the fall.

Somebody answer his question. ASA is quite frankly currently the worst airline on the planet to work for. The Scheduling Clerks were formerly psychological warfare officers at a Uzbekistan prison. We are not growing, our new airplanes are going to SkyWest. Our VP of Flight Operations is currently upset because ALPA safety warned pilots to be careful about maintenance control and scheduling pushing them into potenitally unsafe flight operations.
The crew schedulers have earned my strike vote (if I'm still here). They lie, the rig the times to underpay you, deny you hotel rooms, the use calling cards to contact you, they lie to your family and the company only holds you accountable. If you answer the phone and can not accept a junior man assignment, you get the occurrence on your record without regard for the trick crew scheduling may have used to contact you.
You have no time off. A day off is just short call reserve at time an a half. I will vote no on every contract that does not fix involuntary junior manning and extension.
