It appears to be quite a shake up with the BOD. Looks like a few pilots might have to, heaven forbid, go back to flying airplanes.

No kidding. PCL128 must be sucking his thumb right now.

This is great news for Delta pilots. Moak leaving the DL MEC means fewer secret LOA's with management, and the only way he would leave the DL MEC was if he got sent to National. And, he did it. Maybe a FNWA Cobra will take over the job now at the DL MEC, or JM can come back. (the guy who did the C2k contract)

Bye Bye--General Lee

Looks like the hardest working man at the ATN MEC got a seat at the big kids table. Congratulations to him, he will be missed!

This was not a sure fire win. It took many rounds. First vote had LM and SS dead tied at 13K. Rice finally backed out and then it came down to three. Either way, LM has always been a person that thinks on the scale National deals with. We will see where ALPA goes from here.

I suspect that the DAL MEC will look vastly different on Jan 1, 2011.

Who's that?

T.O., it's in the ALPA press release. He spearheaded the drive to bring ALPA on property, bringing an end to the joke of a union that we had. He also stuck his neck out on many occasions prior to ALPA in the face of the Eastern Alumni, hostile management and an in house union that didn't want their apple cart turned over.
