I guess since they're easing the travel restrictions to Cuba, American wants to cash in...LOL!

This is really ugly. It seems like they could've effectively rebranded without ditching the best part of their legacy iconic imagery (the eagle). You look like the USPS now AA!

Does anyone remember the British Airways "World tails" debacle in the 90`s? They sacrificed their iconic image for an art project and the top man lost his job as a result. This is not as bad but is it the best they can do?

American Airlines Decapitates The Eagle In Its Brand New Logo

The last eagle was iconic; this one appears as if it has a disembodied head.

Matthias Mencke, a creative director at Siegel+Gale, emailed BI that "the new American Airlines logo surely looks more contemporary, but it also lacks the strength the older visual identity had. Is the slimmer rendering with a small, somewhat weak looking eagle's head American Airlines acceptance of not being a leading brand in the airline industry anymore?"

American hired Future Brands to create the new logo.

do a bing search of greyhound bus pics...the logo is a spittin image sans dog....but truth be known, the ************************* dog looks better than the "peel this tab away" to see what's underneath...it ain't no goddarn eagle..

colgan air had better looking authentic flag with stars.....

the whole thing makes me think "Amway" cheap as hell.

the 737 on airliners.net just looks awful....maybe the public will revolt....
