they are talking about something completely different.. Any new hire that comes on property after 11-21-05 gets a type rating with no catch 22. There is no training contract anymore.. The hope is that people will get the type and leave someplace else so the domicile issue can be resolved before the next contract.. The bonus you heard had to do with guys that were here pre-contract and received retro-active pay in the form of a signing bonus

Thanks for your confidence in my ability to read documents. I must give off a vibe that makes people think I'm a simple boob. I appologize for that. Actually, I can read, sign my name, and even fly a plane all by myself. I learnt to tie my shoes just last week.
I know what I signed. The clue was the phrase "reimbursement for training expenses". It mentioned pro rating out for two years. It was not the seat lock letter. It was sent to me before I went to class. I signed it with a bunch of other stuff and mailed it back. It may have been sent by mistake or not. I don't care. I am sorry I mentioned it.

The union can keep track of this and make a very nicely colored chart showing how much money is being pissed away. Now we all know that netjets doesn't care THAT much about money, but when rts and the board sees this waste, I can almost guarantee some changes happening..don't believe me? ANyone who worked at ACA a while back knows that the training pass rate was about 20%. The union made a pretty chart showing the wasted money and TA DA.. training pass rates went to 80%.. They realized they had rediculous standards set..
