all the other threads were getting to long to look through so I started a new one.

1) How long after sending in the app do you get the confirmation email that they recieved your app?
2)after that email how long is the wait to the interview for a LAX or DAL domicile?

It's a looong process as they are slammed with paperwork right now.

well hmmm, just wait now. I'm about to be furloughed so I was hoping things would get processed a little faster.

I applied online back in Jan. I heard back from them in Feb and they put a hold on making more interviews then because they were so backed up. Then, I heard from them in May for an interview in June. They tell you the next day or 2 if you get the job and then they ask right there what date, city and A/C you would like. They are pretty open about it all. They told us at the interview that if they have 6 openings, they interview 6 people. So, if they ask you for an interview, they do want you! It is really up to the applicant to make them think otherwise. They are very backed up I know so, you can always shoot an email to them and prod a bit. Good luck!

well I sorta did that. I haven't gotten the confirmation email that they recieved it.

But I did sent Jerry a email stating that I was about to get furloughed and would take any base. So we'll see. I'll give it a few more weeks and give my inside source/captain a call to have him snoop around.
