Union bitterness is #@$! disgusting!

Ever notice just about every post dealing with NETJETS on this forum gets hijacked by union whiners? How the hell did this thread go from someone posting NJI interview information to all this re-hashed union crap?! Oh yeah: Starman saying a merged pilot group should be a consideration in working for NJI. STUPID reason; it's called hijacking a thread. STUPID! So what is someone to do? Go for a job at NJA with the rest of the miserable jackasses, getting their "miserable pay and benefits," so they can have seniority over NJI pilots IF and when the lists merge?! Freaking moronic. Almost three times the starting salary in exchange for the DREAM of a higher line number...brilliant.

I could post that it was a sunny day in Columbus, OH today (was it?), and I guaran-freaking-tee you it'll turn into a union rant.
If you want to whine about your union situation, start a new thread please! Some suggestions:

"More NJA union rants"
"NJA pilots stilled pissed off and here's why:"
"When NJA pilots dream..."

This forum really deserves better administrative policing.

wow must be your first time learning how a internet forum works.

Go ahead and blame the union though if it makes you feel better.

From one non-miserable jackass to a drunk loser. Enjoy the hangover

Nobody's blaming the union, bud. But your agenda doesn't give you the right to cheapen someone else's post on a forum. Look back through some of the Netjets-related threads here and you'll see they all end up the same. It's pathetic.

I know exactly how "an" internet forum works. My point, to be precise, is that some of you folks apparently do not.

Drunk loser? Bet you wish you were where I am; in fact, I know you do 'cause you post about it all over this forum. Geez.

zman,

A guy thinking about appyling at NJI SHOULD know about the potential of being added to an existing pilot group that numbers over 2100. If i were that guy, I'd want to know. It's not hijacking a thread - it's providing him information that he really needs to know prior to accepting a job.

How can NJA pilots possibly "intimidate" the pilots at NJA into "towing the union line"? It is a condition of pilot employment at NJA.

I voted for the 13% raise and the $25,000 signing bonus. Trust me, I can feel the heat.

Why should he care?! If he got hired at NJA today, wouldn't he STILL have 2000+ pilots ahead of him? So that should keep him from accepting a job at NJI with a $70k+ starting salary in the meantime? The POSSIBILITY of a merger is irrelevant to accepting a good position NOW. And like I said, his situation doesn't change; he still has 2000+ pilots over him.

The info you provided is tentative at best and is splattered all over this forum; the original post was merely providing NJI interview information for those who might be interested, and many are. So yes, it is hijacking a thread because it provided the spring-board for the 15+ pages that followed, none of which had anything to do with NJI interviews. THAT is hijacking.

Give it a break, Starman. You're as wrong now as you were in November '04 when you said the single carrier suit to force the NJI pilots into the Teamsters would be filed January 5, 2005. It didn't happen then and it will never happen. You signed the scope clause that exempted NJI from your union, never mind that they are a completely separate company chartered in a right to work state. I don't know why you hate the NJI pilots so badly, they don't even think about you...

You guys would get a lot more support if you weren't so nasty about the way that you try to force other pilots down rather than trying to help each other up.

And I made it perfectly clear he had no idea what he was talking about when he named NJA pilots thiefs, thugs etc.

Yeah, he knows what he's talking about. What you guys are trying to steal are the Gulfstreams. As one "union" guy to another, it's pretty apparent that what you guys are trying to pull is a good old fashioned seat grab gussied up with a bunch of high fallutin words about fairness.

Thanks, Muddy. And thanks for all those rides from IND to STL! :) TC

It's obvious you aren't clear on the history of EJA/NJA and the formation of EJI/NJI either. Don't believe everything you read on this website Mr.Spray. Could you please explain what NJA pilots are trying to "steal"? I'm curious about the "shenanigans" too.

I'm pretty clear on the history of EJI/EJA. From what I gather from the senior guys at NJI, what GVFlyer has posted here is right on. You only know what you've been told, because you haven't been around long enough to know the "real" EJI history.

You know as well as I do that what you are trying to steal are the Gulfstreams. If you want to fly the "G's" why don't you just apply at NJI? Oh, that's right, you're not qualified to go to work for them - so the only way that you can get into a Gulfstream is throught the courts. Nice. The legal term for the judicial shenanigans you are attempting is called to "usufrucht" - to legally take the property and profits of another.
