What’s this! Heap all abuse on Wolfpack Day???

Don’t forget, I was before the LOA, so the qualifications were lower! Just ask my IV sim partner, he's a Alabama Redneck and got in, plus he was retired Air Force… Oh yeah right back atch ya.

Done in 8 days (hopefully). I gotta start paying Georgia State taxes if I stay 9!

I believe we've filled the CMR quota for the year...

4 is the limit.

LOL!! Pretty funny.

So there are interviews scheduled for March? Is it nearly impossible to get in without a letter or recommendation from a NJI employee?

Thanks for the laughs

I doubt the interviews are scheduled. I just heard from some management folks that was the 'plan'. It is possible to get in without a letter, but it definitely would give you the best chance.

Embry-Riddle graduate from Daytona Beach, with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Science. quote]

Sorry to say this dude, but who gives a rip about the fact that you came from "Embry-Riddle"? I wish you all the luck in your job hunting but I have had it up to here (I am holding my hand about 6' in the air) with the UND and Embry-Riddle grads making a statement like that as though it carries more weight than any of the rest of us with experience. Once a pilot crosses 4,000 hours of so of PIC time, it don't matter where they got their education, they are all experienced pilots that should have good decision making skills. I have known pilots from UND and E.R. that don't have the common sense of a frog but they are still in the cockpit=it does not matter if they got their education from a local FBO or UND or E.R, they should not be in the cockpit. In turn, I have known some pilots that are the some of the best pilots in the air and their education came from FBOs in towns of 4,000 or so people. I have flown with a UND grad who completely forgot to fly the airplane when his headset malfunctioned (reminded me of an airline with gear problems that found a Florida swamp) and I have also flown with a E.R. grad that made one of the worst decisions I have ever seen regarding flying into bad WX.

I am not hammering on you and I ain't hatin'. I am just asking you to look at the broad picture which shows that your education from 7,000 hours of so ago gave up a lot of it's potency after you crossed 3,000-4,000 hours.

Good Luck Dude!~

Wow, struck a nerve did he now? DO i sense some jealousy? He was just making a statement. Lay off of him. Oh and for future reference, when applying for a job i hope you don't list every piston airplane you ever flew on your resume like you did on your profile. Although being dual qualified in the C150 and the C152 is pretty impressive...

Sorry, just have to defend the guy, he did nothing to you...relax

FLYHIGH - Get a life! The guy was asking a simple question. He was just telling his stats to get an honest opinion on his chances of getting a job. Didn't seem like he was 'bragging' about ER to me. Bold move to criticize his decision making abilities based a few morons you've dealt with. Give him a break.

We are hiring, and good luck! I have heard nothing to indicate that management bases any of their hiring volume decisions on any union considerations, just proportionate staffing with the best guys/gals they can find. I have had the pleasure of flying with many of our newbies lately, and they have all done a terrific job. Even that ugly dude from FlexJet, my alma mater! :)

If I have offended any of you, I am sorry.

That was not my intention. I though I would simply state a few of my qualifications to see if they were competitive, as I don't have the "preferred" qualifications..ie Gulfstream Type..etc.

To all that have responded so far, thanks a bunch.

If anyone has further insight on what is going on at NJI as far as interviews, please let me know.

Can someone refresh me on the difference between NJA and NJI? Can you go from one to the other, and if so will you start at the bottom of the other place's seniority list? Kinda sounds like they should be under the same seniority list?

Why wouldn't NJI hire a lot in order to delay the NJA guys coming over?

For every two FO and three captain slots a bid will be open to all NJA pilots. The more NJI hires, the more NJA pilots will be integrated. As far as hiring, I believe a post above is fairly accurate. March is what we hear at NJA as well. At least part of the reason is March 21st is the completion date of the Blue Book Working Committee. This is a union and management group working full time to deal with implimentation and compliance of the new CBA. Good luck to all working hard to join the gang, and to all of us already here as we approach changes of unknown proportions.
