Do you mean that the anti-union types never make an appearance? We don't need, or want, a union at Avantair, so why would a union-buster like B19 waste his/her time posting in that type of thread? I'm not quite getting your logic.

my logic is that these few never miss an opportunity to say unions suck - so why would they pass on an opportunity to say - see how great it is NOT to have a union.

As several of you have said, (Broke among them) unions only become necessary when management is not responsive. It's not like that here. They have responded, and recently. Even when it costs the company. Employees here see that, and appreciate it. Many of us have worked at carriers with unresponsive unions as well as management. At Avantair, we have no union because we don't need one. If I have a problem, I can go to a member of our PAC, or just go to management myself. So far this works. I for one hope it stays that way. By the way, if you do a search on my posts, you will see that B19 and I got into it awhile back. I'm pretty sure he doesn't work here.

B19 doesn't work at AvantAir. We have a good thing going and plan to keep it that way

I remember when I first noticed B19; he was running down Unions when some of the Avantair pilots wanted to organize. Here's the evidence that you did/do have to claim him...straight from the search Flylow suggested.

Red type added for emphasis, quoting B19 Flyer:

9/5/06 To those of you that want to know ... about Avantair. Those of us here know what is happening, ….

9/23/06 Here's the deal. ….we enjoy working at Avantair ….The last six months have seen amazing things happen ....those of us working at Avantair, there is no beef and we choose to be here because we want to be. .

I can tell you though, that this is the place to be right now for to fly in the fractional world. The last six months have seen amazing things happen and it’s only going to get better as the company grows. So, for those of us working at Avantair, there is no beef and we choose to be here because we want to be. If you look at all the negative posters, there are only a specific few and they all have the same twists to them. As I’ve posted before, ignore these folks and look at all the great posts by current employees that work for the company. Those far outweigh the opinions of these select few idiots.

Either 19 works at Avantair, or 19 is a Liar.... Hmmm I can't decide.

Isn't it amazing that when everyone believed he was BT at FLOPS, he denied denied denied?

Now, slience.

Hmmm......

HMMM Let's see--I think if you look back at my earlier threads (about 2 weeks ago)I said Netjets was bleeding out at a rate 2 mil a day for the first half of the year and was thoroughly brow beaten and told how wrong and screwed up I was by several on here. (you know who you are) But I think these numbers pretty much vindicate my statement. I also mentioned which entities were making money and which were not--take my word for it guys, I got that right too. I also made a few more statements about furloughs. They are coming guys! If you know anything about the psychological approach to an HR department you will know that they advocate lay-offs and furloughs during peak emotional highs---think holiday season! The rationale is that people are way up so when you take them down the low isn't AS low as it would normally be. Watch between Thanksgiving and the first 2 weeks in Jan for 300-500 pilots to go out the door. The dust doesn't need to settle on the early out and LOA packages, they already have a good idea what those numbers are and they aren't good enough. Read WBs biography Snowball if you want a little insight. He isn't that grandfatherly image you see on TV. RS was too compassionate in his "right sizing" efforts for the BH boys. I've seen it at other companies that are BH owned or where WB is on the board and carries the big stick. The blood letting is coming---operationally it will come relatively fast---from the HR perspective on the time table I predicted above unless the economy makes a miraculous recovery. There aren't going to be anymore compassionate "please leave" programs. Here is your 2 months furlough pay--cya! FOR WHAT IT IS WORTH DEPARTMENT: THIS IS ENTIRELY SPECULATION ON MY PART. But I have a pretty good track record so far!

Now I have a question for the "in the know" union bretheren. If BH wanted to sell off assets from NETJETS---hypothetically let's say NJI (Okatie, SAV maintenance, etc.) to an outside buyer (think one that is no longer employed by Netjets or say General Dynamics or Gulfstream) could they? What are the limitations imposed by the CBA or LOAs that would prevent this type action? I also understand that multiple owners have the airplanes---could they not transfer the management of these aircraft if they so desired? I don't know the answers to these questions--just asking!

The conspiracy grows!

If you knew so much (red highlights) before it happened then why do you have questions still? You should be telling all here what your great predictions are because there are many who don't know what will occur next besides furloughs.

Anybody who has paid attention knew NJA was and is bleeding coin, knew that change must happen and knew furloughs will be required. Did you know that some had hopes or kept a positive attitude to make their day go by? Reality is you knew no more or less than anyone else; it's just that the rest have choose to keep faith while preparing for the worst at NJA.

You don't troll the same waters as B19 do ya?
