Y'know, somewhere in reading all these posts I have come up with one stark a striking theme...

... its not ignorance, its not animosity....


...its the lack of team.

Casino, flight line, mx, whoever the frig you are, were suppossed to be a team. Working together for a common goal, to maintain our livelyhood.

The management has certainly done their job in dividing us up. Thats all too apparent in your posts.

Shame on you. We arent the enemy... when you can realize that, and you think outside your little cocoon in the casino, you might see what is going on.

I agree with High Speed. The "Team" concept doesn't exist here. Unfortunately the customers lose out in the end. I wish the puzzle palace folks could realize how much some of the screwups hurt the customers.


I personally haven't had any trouble with the dispatchers. They do a good job. Have to call and give them a fax number every so often. Other than that they don't cause us much problems. They just do what scheduling tells em to do.

1. Where is it that I have demeaned your job? Seems all I read is you brave souls from dispatch, or whether they be the outside 135/91 guys who hate my guts just cause I signed on with this Dog and Pony show,on this board trashing my peers, who, lets face it, have had it.

2. There is no " I " In team, Fred, and frankly, I dont get paid enough to think I am better than you. I cant do your job to the ability that you can, neither can you do mine that way. That is that, point blank, full stop.

3. I am not threatening your livelihood, Fred, the upper echelon management is for not once thinking outside the box, and sacrificing a little profit now for maximum gain in the future.... I think the statement is " INVESTING IN THE FUTURE". Sorry that you feel you are in the crosshairs, bubba.

Finally, my dear Fred, you are sorely mistaken that this has not been brought on by management.....they chose to drag this out, amd make this a knife fight. We only are fighting for what we are worth ( which obviously isnt much by your reaction and reaction of the non- NetJet people on this board.) and it has been long overdue.

I've only been here a few months, Freddy boy, and I cant say enough about the professionalism I have seen here compared to my old stomping grounds.
Thats on both sides...yours too. Don't make yourself sound like a pompous ass by slandering all of us for a few possible bad apples in the bushel.

Take my opinion for what is worth people... or BIOYA. I don't care. Lets just cut the **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** and the nasty infighting and get to work.

I can only speak for myself, but I don’t hate your guts. In practice when I get treated with respect and professionalism, I return it in kind. Unlike you, I have been here years not months. I have seen the change in the relationship between the crews and the casino workers first hand. Right now, it’s the worst I’ve ever seen it and don’t think it stems from how the non-bargaining guys are acting.

I have worked in freight, legacy and charter, and I can agree with you that this place is light years ahead of many others. It was never more in evidence when not one employee, pilot or otherwise laid off after 9/11. That’s pretty special in any industry, but it’s downright unheard of in aviation.

The company owes you an industry (fractional) leading wage. As near as I can tell that’s pretty close to what’s being offered. I don’t think that because you or I work for BH that there is an unlimited bag of money for either of us.

As far as the line goes, BB can take the highroad and claim nothing is going on, but the rework created by the increased DNIFs, bogus write-ups and feet dragging is pretty obvious. The crap on this board and in the press has caused many of us who supported you in the beginning to do a 180.
