Can one of you guys who are currently employed at NJ be so kind to get some intel as to what exactly "continued being evaluated" means?

1)Are we awaiting sim slots?
If so, how are new-hires being picked out?

2)By evaluating...did we get assigned a score?
If so, are the highest score candidates being picked out first?

3)What about the rest, how long can one stay in the pool?

4)will the rest of the sim slots for 2008 be filled with April-July candidates who have gotten the "evaluating" letter?

Evaluating could also be a nice way of saying "no thank you letters are coming" I really hope this is not the case. But after 3 months of waiting.... I am totally freaking out!!!!

No Email

Still haven't received no email even though many folks I interviewed with in April DID get emails. I called and left a VM at NJ. I got an email response to that VM thanking me for my continued interest in NJ and potential career there. Potential? That is a lot different than the "offer" email I got before. I am not getting it.

I don't think any line pilots know the answers to these questions.

...then perhaps a NJ pilot involved with the recruiting process?
Seriously; all we are trying to do here (and lots of us out here) is to gain an understanding of how your organization can take more than 3mo. to make a hiring decision (post-interview).

I'm embarrassed by it. I can say endless great things about NJA, but after watching a friend go through this I'm left speechless.

I just hope that when these folks are finally brought on board someone will be able to tell them, "ok, here is why we had to handle your hiring process the way we did..." I can't imagine that the folks "in the know" are not aware of the impact this has on the pilot candidates.

I did not get an email last week either, i also interviewed in April. I had the unoffical "you are hired" email from Derinda back in June, and the reply email from Rachel that everyone got. I do not know what's happening over at Netjets, but i hope they fix this soon.

I have friends recommended by myself, still waiting after two months to find out if they were hired.

Apparently NJA is still interviewing cause I know a guy that went to Columbus today for the interview. The way things are going he probably won't hear anything until December.
