Guys and Gals ! Help me out please. I emailed my resume and cover letter to Netjets almost 2 weeks ago. What is the expected turn around time/process to recieve a application in the mail ?? Thanks in Advance !

I received a full application about three or four weeks after mailing in my resume. After sending in the full application it took them three weeks to acknowledge receipt of it, and another few months before an interview invite. They have a lot of applications on file so it does take some time but they will get back to you eventually.

IF at ALL possible, type out the app. BIG brownie points...

Just got mine yesterday. Took just under 3 weeks. My resume was e-mailed with a rec letter from a current NJ pilot. Not sure if that speeds up the process or not?

Geez, I started typing it at the local library (Before I grasped how long it really takes). Then I got kicked out at closing time. Eventually, I found a nice used typewriter at a thrift store. So, that way I could toil at home over the application:)

Does anyone know how strict they are about their 250 hours instrument requirement?

All minimums are hard. The owners have them written into their contracts, so there is no wiggle room. I'm pretty sure that sim time can be counted toward the instrument requirement.

Man, I must have gotten lucky. I emailed my resume at 4pm on 3/29 and got the app today (of course I'm just left on a 3 day trip and can't work on it 'til Tuesday). So, that was a good 9 days! Someone must've been working late last week.

Listing location preferences

Hello,
When listing geographical preferences, will one get called for an interview based only on their first choice? There are a couple of domiciles in which I am interested, but will they just look at the number one preference? I've read the posts where certain locations seem to amount to a longer time before an interview. Thank you!
