Just wondering how well your weather radar works in most planes? Please tell me they are better than the ERJ
i am sure it depends on the aircraft but just wondering an overall impresion

I'm guessing you are talking about the 145? The 170 has a sweet radar.

I don't like the radar inthe Ultra. It is usless if you fly through heavy rain. Plus if it displays a green echo, watch out. That will rip the wings off.

The Ultra fleet is getting TCAS installed. I had dinner two nights ago with a buddy who's in the U-boat and his last plane was one of the ones that had gotten a TCAS installed.

Don't worry: after Dec 7, the Ultra will pay the same as anything else but a 2000EX/LX for an SIC.

FYI, I hate coffee at the FBO. It is always crap. Therefore, I usually ask my SIC to grab a crew car and run to Starbucks before each flight. It seems to work better for everybody that way.:nuts:
