I interviewed several years ago and its time again so any tips on the interview? I read some posts and many seem not too happy with Netjets but I'll give it a try anyway. Any tips are appreciated.

Good luck pal!! Just bear in mind that upgrade is at least five years. You should plan on making less than 40K a year until you upgrade. Best of luck to you. If you really want the job just go there and be yourself. You will get hired!!

I didn't turn down the job, it turned me down and I didn't lose the job, its still there but someone else doing it...LOL There was not as much hype as now with the company and its kind of frustrating to have to make less flying full time with NJ then part time contract work but its a career with bennies and I dont have to stay there...

If you're not worried about staying there why go? The pay is low, you get no PIC time, and you'll sign a two-year contract that if you bail out on you'll be pursued and fuc* up your credit rating!!

The real question you should ask yourself is.....am I prepared to go in strike in 4 months?

Those are things I will have to think about. What a lousy time to interview! The chances are I would get the C500 series, I have the type so would I still have to sign a contract?

Yes, my Sim Partner also has a Citation V type and he had to sign the contract. It cost NJA the same to send you through training regardless of a type rating.

www.aviationinterviews.com has very good info on the interview, I strongly suggest reading the most current 20 or 30 debriefs if you get the call.

It is a 2 year contract and I can promise you they go after those that don't complete it. If you don't pay, it will be reflected on your credit report as an unpaid debt.Don't get too excited about all the Netjets haters on this board though. We have solid leadership in place and I must say it is very impressive! You will not see anyone talking on this board about what is really happening behind the scenes. You can rest assured that this will be a high paying job in the not so distant future, or Netjets will be out of business. Regardless of what all the corporate pilot experts have to say, it will happen. You just have to be prepared to strike and possibly lose your job if necessary. If you can weather that, it may not be a bad choice.

Now Im not even concerned about the interview, Strike? Contract? 1 or 2 years? Oh boy!!!! I appreciate all the help here. I can deal with the pay but SIC time? If I share the legs of flying and Im typed then why SIC? Sounds like someone might be wrong or maybe not?

Im not sure what you meant about Eagle, I fly contract out of San Diego and make good money but not too consistant. Can I log PIC if flying right seat and manipulating the controls?

Dude, you are a contract pilot and you are asking if you can log PIC from the right seat? Ask Southwest that question in the interview, see what they have to say about it. My answer is yes, if you are the Captain!!!

Focus on doing well in the interview, getting the offer and then you can make your decision. Good luck.

Actually under the current contract F/Os top out at just over $32K a year.
