Got a feedback form from the recruiting office. Just wanted to get some new hire info.....do they pay you guarantee for training? Where is the training held? How long? Do they pay for your accomodations while in training? Do health benefits start on day one? Just curious how many hours I might could expect to credit on a typical month as a junior pilot? Just trying to see if thiswould be a good fit. Thanks for the help in advance!

Pay is $2500/month while in training. Training is in SFO for indoc and cbt stuff, MIA for sim (sometimes DFW - but rare). No lodging provided in SFO for training as it is your official base, but hotel and per-diem paid while at the sim (rental car provided by Airbus as well if sim is done in MIA). Benefits start on first day of the second full month of employment (must be employed a full calendar month if my memory is correct). On reserve you will not break guarantee, but once you hold a line it is common for even very junior guys to get 80+ hours of credit with 15+ days off per month.

Be sure to tell them you're more than willing to work for 2/3rds of what pilots flying comparable equipment in stable airlines get.

Fubi gets paid more than anyone else flying his equipment, he's the bestest, ever. He makes more than guys flying contract work oversees because he's so awesome.

The sound of guilt. You made the choice to stab us in the back. Might as well own it, scumbag.

That's funny. Isn't you who flies Delta's passengers? Talk about stabbing your "union brother" in the back. Then on top of it all you gloat about the profit your airline makes from it.

"Might as well own it", pu$$y.

What he said.

Good company, needs work (maybe a union), getting better (slowly). You will enjoy it if you come. Airline is very well financed and has no problem obtaining money. If anything it's a great stepping stone to other opportunities and our guys have had no problem with getting on at other airlines.

Good luck in your decision.

Again, more denial from Scumbag Airlines, a wholly owned subsidary of the Sir Dick Empire.

There's no denial our airline needs a lot of work. Anytime, any place, Foolbi. We all know though you will hide behind FI. First beer, coffee, juice box, is on you, I'll accept it as an apology.

I'll wait for your pm.

The only place your airline belongs is on the ash heap of history. Right next to Skybus...

Yes, just like Skybus, after nearly four and a half years of operation we are a major airline, taking deliveries of new airplanes, hiring, expanding. Yes, exactly like Skybus was after four years of operation...

Your holding on to that lame Skybus comparison is getting a bit stale, just like you. Perhaps it is another example of how limited your brain function really is. Hint - if you are going to bash us, please chose a more relevant airline to compare us to.

Yup like you are Fubijaakr, flying now for 2/3 of what real pilots made in the past.....and would be again if you were unemployed....

Nope. I'd find another line of work rather than apply to a non-Union carrier. Never have, never will. And its YOU exerting the downward pressure on all our wages...even mighty SWA. Gary Kelly recently told his employees that their costs are too high. And who do other major airline execs compare their costs to...scumsuckers like your who sell your services on the cheap.

But, I guess you know what you're worth.

Fubijaakr is an angry little troll, but he baited you into saying something even more ugly. He won.

Right next to the airline at the bottom of the Pacific with a rusty jackscrew!

And there, Ladies and Gentlemen is the viewpoint of the average VX pilot.

Nice job, Azz.

As an "average" VA pilot who just reprimanded the guy for his ugly comment, I am uniquely qualified to tell you that you're wrong. I am just disappointed in myself for forgetting to put you on my ignore list like I did to your screen name on APC. I'll go fix that right now.

"Fubijaakr is an angry little troll" that is well said. To bad like the kiddy rides at Disney FI dosen't have a height requirement, same holds true for ALPA. If we lie to him and tell him he is the tallest midget in the room maybe he will go back to the rock he crawled out from under.

Fubar...the union airlines ARE working for 2/3 pay as we speak...I dont work for VA or the likes of them either...

VA is Virgin Atlantic, doosh. BTW, they make about 2/3rds what BA makes. Anyone who works for Sir Dick is an idiot.
