I guess the media finallly gets it after 10 plus years
 
Bizarre coincidence, about 7 years and 1 month ago, there was media attention about the same thing. At least as far as LGA was concerned.

Does anybody know if the "slottery" that was imposed in March of 01 has been lifted for LGA?

It's been 5 years since I was based there. But it seemed like after that thing took affect, LGA seemed like a ghost town at times.
 
Too much money at stake and the FAA administrator isn't going step into that hornet's nest.

As usual, nothing will change until there's a fatal accident.
