What's the trick to level 8? Been stuck for 20 minutes and my tired brain doesn't want to keep kicking it. :)

I forget the tricks to 8 and 11 and it's too late to go figure them out, but if you guys are still stuck tomorrow I'll try to put what they are if I can do them again. Anyone know the deal with 16, it seems that there are 3 dead ends but they only give you one splitter, hmm, I don't see how it can be done, but I'm sure it can, good thing I'm unemployed for the time being.

Well, you have to edit the link, when it comes up and says you can't use it, you have to manually edit out the http:// part.

Sorry, it was too late last night, #17 is the one where it appears there are 3 dead ends and only one splitter. help.

Warning, spoiler ahead for anyone that hasn't done #8.

To do #8, put a splitter at the end, after it gets the 2 bulbs it originally is hitting anyway, below that put the 45 degree angle prism to deflect it slighty left, put in another splitter to shoot up the row of 3 bulbs that go from top middle to mid bottom right, and finally, the last splityrt at the top left of that beam to get the last 3 bulbs.

So, the laser goes far right, down a little, up and left at a diagonal, then down and left.

Still looking for help/hints on 17, or if anyone found a site/instructions/cheat book anywhere. I tried to google it but unsuccessfully.
 
I'm hung up on 18... this has cost me too much of my life already..:eek:

#17 Solution

Ok . . after spending WAY too much time on a Friday night after flight instructing, here is number 17-

Place the splitter in the first block available (closest to the laser) knocking out the first bulb. Next put a mirror NE of the splitter. After rotating it, you should have 2 of the bulbs red and the laser heading off to the SE. Place another mirror down by the lower right cluster of blocks and rotate it so the laser goes to the NE and into the far right section with the other bulb. Now use the refractor and two mirrors to flip a u-turn within the far right section and turn on the third bulb. The laser should be heading due west at this point. WARNING - place something in the path of the laser before flipping the u-turn or you will set the bomb off on the left side of the screen. Now just place a mirror in the center of the screen to send the laser to the North, turning on the last bulb.

Now . . on to #18 . .

thank you for the solution to #17. I've got my first flight in 9 months tomorrow so I guess I won't be starting 18 yet, but after I scare myself and my IP tomorrow, I'm sure I'll be back on the laser game crack.

solution to #10, hmm, well, I did it a few days ago and now and I can't do it again, sorry. If you still haven't got it in 2 days or so, maybe I'll have figured it out by then.
 
#10 solution

from the laser go:

up 9 squares
right 8 squares
down 8
left 2
up 6
left 5
from here use the refractor to refract the beam the the SW and then use the splitter to get the remaining two lights.

It only took 2 days to figure out :D
 
Anyone shed light

Help with Number 13????????? I see that I am the only that has had trouble with this one so far........either I have been staring at the screen to long or the blonde thing is taking effect
 
#18 solution

to solve #18

from laser
4 blocks to NE put a splitter
2 blocks NW double sided mirror
2 blocks SW double sided mirror
5 blocks SE splitter

from first splitter, for other laser
1 block SE refracter
2 blocks S mirror
5 blocks W mirror
5 blocks N mirror

some pieces need to be prepositioned because of the bombs

OK - Add me to the list of the addicted and afflicted. Not only that but I'm an official dumba$$. Last night I got up to level 23. It took some time (about 2 1/2 hours from 1 - 23) but I quit the game to get some sleep. I DIDN"T save the passwords.:mad:
O well, I'll start at the beginning.
I will conquer!!
