Hey guys, I've gotta a friend that needs info on MAC...mostly about Pay, and do they have any NC or SC bases?? On behalf of my friend we appreciate the help and info.

Mac

I like their pay as well...With my military retirement plus their pay - i'll be making more than a RJ Captain...And for good reason- i'm much better looking, not to mention my large...well, you get the picture...:)

Not sure about the bases, I don't like to guess. Give them a call and peak to someone in HR / CP...Something tells me a company that hasn't had any layoff in 30+ years will have someone willing to take the time to answer a few questions...MAC appears to be a class act....

Bases range on type of aircraft.
C-208
MEM, FLL, Ft. Pierce (I think), San Juan, a bunch of others, I'll edit if I
remember any more

F-27 is going the way of the Dodo. For now, the F27 is in MIA, BQN,
MEM, IND. None are really bases per se, they seem to be all floaters.

ATR-42 is all over, Nashville, MEM, Chattenooga(ms), and a Jacksonville
i think, and a bunch (like I said, I'll repost if I remember more)

ATR-72 Soon to be South America.

http://www.airt.net/

F/O F27 and ATR are the same pay, ($24,000 to start)
C-208 is $32,000 (give or take)

As for time, it varies. You'll want 1000 PIC for the C-208. I'm thinking
a pulse is needed for F/O's right now.

The "sim" test is a PC with a yoke and panel attachment. Single engine.
The roll rate is like a freakin' fighter jet so be sharp.
On the VOR approach, the course changes after the VOR, remember
to change the OBS when you cross! And checklist (should go without saying)

I'll check back ina few days if you want more info.
