I second the inputs from Empenage on QFE, Meters, etc. Do a good review of the SID ahead of time, with the QFE/Meters settings and low transition altitude. Some of the SIDs (out of UUEE as I recall) can get a little dicey if you aren't ahead of the jet despite the relatively benign appearance of the SID. (i.e. if you get a relatively low FL level-off from ATC and wait until passing transition alt, to set QNE, you'll most likely bust your altitude. There are a lot of course distractions/turns that occur while you would normally be setting the altimeter)
