Were you the guy that got off the Saab and claimed that you work for Air Whiskey? Then refused the lunch so you could get some of that wholesome mickey d's and when told that it didn't matter who you worked for the lunch was free so you bolted?
The opening comment of this thread is 100% correct. It happened to me at 0900 on July 16th in LGA. There were seats available, albeit in first class. I was so shocked that I couldn't even answer Joe when he said it. Just when you think the bar couldn't go any lower...
And furthermore, all you guys better look for Denyse, the express supervisor, in LGA and thank her for the great job SHE, not crew scheduling, did in finding me alternate flights that I could deadhead on. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, USAirways Express in LGA gives more of a crap about Colgan pilots than our own crew scheduling.
