Somebody already put this up in another thread but for those who haven't seen it please take a look. This is another message put out by none other than Klen B, the guy who is backing Fizer on his hatchet job firing Don D. Please read the highlighted areas to see what ol Klen is saying then put your mouse over that section to get a pop up window displaying the truth. See the difference? Just more spin from Klen B, whos "door is always open and knows whats best for you better than you do....do not seek outside representation!" Thats our Klen.

Oh yeah here's some excerpts from Klens other letter regarding Don D:

Dear Pilots,

SkyWest typically refrains from commenting on employee disciplinary matters. Now that a newspaper is writing about it, and ALPA is using Don as kindling for its campaign, it is time you know all the facts.

I am not writing this letter as a distant observer of the facts or the people involved. I was friends with Don for over fifteen years. We’ve been roommates and have flown together many, many times. Don and I spent several weeks together on a couple of different occasions in Alaska on vacation. I was also the Director of Aircraft Operations when Don was disciplined for making bad decisions. He called and asked me to intervene on his behalf, which I was more than willing to do. However, when I learned the facts, I reluctantly concluded that SkyWest had no choice but to discipline him. This is the same conclusion that two review boards and OSHA reached after it investigated Don’s claims.

So here are the facts. Each fact you read in the next six paragraphs comes from testimony given under oath – most of it from Don himself. None of these facts are in dispute. Ask yourself, when you read them, whether you think proper safety decisions were made.

In July 2005, profane graffiti was written on a corkboard in the SLC station. The corkboard was removed but the profane message was written again, this time on the wall. Since the problem was not going away, SkyWest hired two handwriting experts to identify the person who was defacing property. Working independently from each other, both experts identified Don as the author of the graffiti and his employment was subsequently terminated. Don requested a review board, of which half the members were line pilots. These pilots reviewed the facts and unanimously upheld the termination.....

This brings us back to the present. After failing to convince two peer review boards and getting a “no cause” finding from OSHA, Don appealed again to another office in the Department of Labor, which held hearings on this matter last November. Last Wednesday, that office entered opposite findings to the OSHA investigation, which has touched off the ALPA propaganda about Don. What ALPA has not told you is that this order and opinion, from one person, is only the second stage in a process that could have as many as five levels of review. They never mention that Don’s claims have been rejected three times by line pilots and a federal government agency. As it sits, we have mixed messages coming out of two different offices in the Department of Labor, which we will ask to be resolved by another government board.

This is why I find it so strange that ALPA, whose mission statement is “to promote and champion all aspects of aviation safety" would politicize a case full of dubious safety decisions. I guess the opportunity to attack SkyWest midway through the process, with half the facts, was just too good to pass up. I don’t believe it will work because convincing our pilots that SkyWest does not care about safety is going to be a pretty hard sell.

My 33 years as a pilot have taught me that one thing is certain: only those within the company know what’s in our best interest. No outside party has gained or can continue to gain what we can by working together. Remember, if you do not want ALPA in your life, then leave the phone on the hook and do not vote.

Sincerely,
Klen B

Followed two days later by this below. Btw, we will ignore the fact that on ishare, the company message board there has been an "overwhelming response" of people welcoming Don back and saying he got screwed. Dont worry though the Skywest censorship police will take it down as soon as Klen gets wind.

Fellow SkyWest Pilots,

Last week I sent two letters to the pilot group, one addressing several points to do with the ASA TA and the other to point out the facts regarding Don Douglas. The amount of Email I have received from you, thanking me for providing you with these facts, has been overwhelming, both in support and in volume. I had intended to answer and thank each of you individually but that is no longer possible simply because of the numbers of responses.
The next few weeks will forever change the path we take and our future here at SkyWest Airlines. Your opinions and voices are very critical and must continue to be heard.
I appreciate your support and commitment to SkyWest Airlines and look forward to a marvelous future.
Sincerely,
Klen B

P.S. To vote "no" simply do not call.

Ha Ha, does anybody really believe this guy anymore?! I'd say his credibility is pretty much shot at this point. This gives me a good idea though. I'm going to take out a page in the newspaper and have an add placed. Maybe something along the lines of "All who have met me, love me. I am one of the smartest people around as attested by the "overwhelming response" I always got from hundreds of teachers I have had contact with. I can do no wrong as verbally and in written form documented from 49 police officers in all 50 states. Note: I threw the written documents away so don't ask.

What you think, just crazy enough to work? If I disseminate it...then they've just got to believe!

Who's keyboard is going to melt? Dude you need to get some friends (and I'm not talking about online).

As for Ken B's letters, that guy is only helping the union drive. Each time he writes something like this more and more people start to realise just how management really feels, regardless of all the BS they have stated in the past. I mean he states clearly that they are going to appeal the judge's ruling and try to prevent his "friend" from getting his job back.

Hey guys,

For those who are on the fence about the union drive, I would humbly submit this:

ALPA will be whatever you guys make of it. It is much more a "local politics" organization than you have been told. Just look at the disparity of the different ALPA pilot groups out there. ie. Mesa and Comair. (lowest paid to previously highest paid)

They bring a huge arsenal of national assets, but the success or failure of the union falls almost completely at the local level. You won't find yourselves a pawn of some big ogre, nor will you find yourselves rescued.

What you will get out of the union is completely up to you. The difference is that you will be able to negotiate within a legal framework and the results of your efforts will be legally binding.

The company will still have the operational flexibility needed to remain competitive, as long as they work through the process and treat the pilot group fairly.

So pick up the phone.

That's my take.

"Ask yourself, when you read them, whether you think proper safety decisions were made."

Ok,so how is writing on a wall/corkboard a "safety issue "? Another management lackey.

Take it easy there big fella. Before you go on attack dog mode, I support the drive. And I was poking fun at 120% for the very fact that he's posted 188 times in 5 1/2 years, with about 180 of them being in the last two weeks. How does this involve you again?

Now as for me finding friends, I'm ok there, I have plenty. Unfortunately for them, they're not around me all day. It seems my computer is. And I sit down a few times a day with a cup of coffee or a beer and catch up on all the drama and laughs that tools like you provide.

Thanks for doing your part to make Flightinfo the entertainment capitol of aviation that it is.

Anyone remember Klens emails to DEN based pilots around the opening of ASE? He kept putting out letters saying to get your bids in immediately, as the slots were filling fast. After several of these emails warning how the slots were filling quickly, the bid came out. Something like 2 or 3 Fo's bid it. The other 12 or 13 were Jr.-manned straight of the bottom of the DEN reserve list. Klen can't be trusted. His emails make me laugh.

Thats funny. I suspect he never even read his emails in this case. He got one "Thanks" from Brad and 654 "WTF?" from line pilots and ignored them. The message I got from his 'thank you' mail was "I'm arrogant and F#%% all of you".

So, wait, are we talking about Skywest the Australian airline here, PCL_128? Or are we talking about SkyWest, the largest regional airline in the world? I'm confused.

PCL_128

I honestly want to know: are you supporting Hillary for President?

I wouldn't vote for Hillary if she was running against Satan himself.

How does that apply to a manager at Skywest spreading lies about someone he claims was his "friend?"

Well then, it seems you've gone so far LEFT that you've ended back up on the RIGHT wing. Good job. By the way, were you envolved at all between this "fight?" Who are you to differentiate between what is a lie and what is a truth? Shouldn't that be up to the poeple to decide?
