I just read this on the union web site, my heart goes out to the families involved.

"Just got my call from the Flight Office. Jan 10th the furloughs begin. Total of about 400 furloughs spread over a few months."

I guess the 123 on Oct. 1 were not enough. With yesterdays announced 15 aircraft reduction, additional furloughs were bound to happen. The scary thing is that these numbers were generated WITHOUT the "soft 90" cap in place (pilots discression flying to 90 hours).

That really sucks moose.....G4. But APA is the real hero here, our fearless Fup of a President said the furloughs would go much deeper and look AA is only letting 400 go. Way to go APA!!!!!!!!!

NOT!

They are going to slowly shrink this airline out of business. More furloughs to come when we go to preferential bidding and lines built to 85 hours. Boy I can't wait to see the greedy FUKC's flying 90+ hours.

Just wondering if you could tell me what the hire date of the jumior guy would be after the 400 are furloughed.
