I just read this on the union web site, my heart goes out to the families involved.
"Just got my call from the Flight Office. Jan 10th the furloughs begin. Total of about 400 furloughs spread over a few months."
I guess the 123 on Oct. 1 were not enough. With yesterdays announced 15 aircraft reduction, additional furloughs were bound to happen. The scary thing is that these numbers were generated WITHOUT the "soft 90" cap in place (pilots discression flying to 90 hours).
