MMMX closed/electrical problems/100+ flights affected

Electical problems and no runway lights at MMMX Mexico City. FYI

As of 11PM Sept 28 local Central and still not solved as of 0120 Sept 29 local Central.

Took off out of there at 7 pm local. Heard about it on the way back to IAH. Man we got lucky.

On the way to TX last night MEM center was informing a DAL flight inbound to MMMX about the situation around 10pm east coast time. They (ATC) told them to continue as the problem was expected to be corrected by their arrival.

They have lights in Mexico City? Just bring out burning bags of ********************, probably wouldnt smell any worse.
