XJet won't lose any CO flying eh?? On the contrary, XJET is losing 700 pilot jobs worth of CO flying. XJET will be DESPERATE to place these aircraft. They are coming at their pilots with a contract extension. Chautauqua and Continental are screwing XJET now they will have to try to screw someone else (skyway, eagle, transtates, whoever) to survive. Sucks for you guys, I wish your pilot group could keep that flying, you are a great pilot group.

CHQ is screwing Xjet huh? You didn't see us taking any concessions to "steal" your flying and we weren't the lowest bidder either. Not even close to it. If that's the case we are getting screwed by Freedom (Mesa) as they are taking all of CHQ's flying down in Florida. It's a viscious cycle my friend. Welcome to the world of free market aviation.

so we arent going to have any more classes?

Even if we did, what difference would it make? I think they should pay protect people so they won't leave before all of this crap goes down in another year.

propsync you little girl...... are you angry that you did not get hired anywhere else?

Sarcasm propsync...sarcasm.... I guess it wasnt evident?

I heard that also, but I dont think that they are looking for RJ's for the connect routes, but to take the place of some of the others. I heard rumor that ASA put some interest in it. Dont know what that means if anyithing.

more juicy rumor

Just heard from no credible source that AWAC may have shot themselves in the foot hiring Rankin. Aparently, he did not leave on fantastic terms, source would not go into details. I have never heard of an airline sinking a business deal due to personnel conficts but I guess there always a first time. Also Skyway has or will soon purchase 2 more Jets with options for 5 more? Don't know about the credibility on that one either. On a counter rumor note: Reps from the a/c oven company visited ATW about 2 weeks ago. that one was confirmed by VP on company web board.
i love this drama.

Rankin was asked by Midwest to recuse himself from influencing any decision either way. Just thought I would throw that info out there, not that it really means anything. This was straight from Kevin L.

Oh my god! I can't tell you what a blumpkin is on this site! Next time you see Halverson, ask him about Clyde. I will at least, touch upon the "dog in a bathtub"
I know that I am going to hell but, you are all coming with me. I'll drive the bus.

I laughed so hard on that one that I have to ask; are farts supposed to be lumpy? I have to go mow my lawn now.
Remember boys and girls, Tuna IS the devil!

Looks like we bought at least 1 Jet, hopefully at least 1 more on the way. Some FO's got a message today saying that there are more 328 classes coming up in the next few months.

To: All Skyway and Midwest Airlines Employees
Date: August 3, 2006
From: David Reeve, Chairman of the Board -- Skyway Airlines
Subject: 328JET Fleet

I am pleased to share the great news that we have signed a letter of intent to acquire a 328JET regional jet. Additionally, we are beginning negotiations to acquire a second 328JET. This would expand our fleet of regional jets from 10 to 12.

Both aircraft were formerly operated by Atlantic Coast Airlines under a codeshare agreement with Delta Airlines.

On the first jet, we have completed the technical inspection and records review, and only need to complete a purchase agreement to finalize the deal -- a process we expect to complete in the next 45 days. After completion of maintenance work, refurbishment and painting in the Midwest Connect livery, we hope to put the plane into revenue service later this year.

We will inform you of the status of the second jet as we progress through negotiations.

At this time, our plan is to use these aircraft in existing Midwest Connect markets.

Does anybody know if they are going to pull ONLY current FOs for the new jet classes and/or people from the pool? Ive been in a pool since Feb and really wondering if I'll ever get a call??? Thanks for the help!

Just get another job, you don't wanna work with Tuna or 580 they both smell funny and like molesting farm animals.

I doubt they are going to pull from the pool. My guess is that they will take current Beech FO's and move them to the Jet gradually so they can phase out the Beech's. If your in the pool at Skyway, I would strongly suggest sending out applications elsewhere because I doubt you will hear the phone ring anytime soon.

ditto Mr. G's comments...look elsewhere! Yo weren't supossed to let the sheep outta the bag Joey!

That explains why you had that jar of peanutbutter when you wanted to come over and play with Lucky-puppy. You sick little man, you! Go find a sheep and leave my dog alone.
