We have also been hearing that Airtran is loosing a lot of money on their new expansion routs from Milwaukee and it didn't turn out like they planned and they will be scaling back on all the loosing routes.

Did you Airtran guys hear anything?

You forgot the above highlighted part, was simply asking if you guys hear anything and not bashing you in any way. We are not as emotional as some of the Airtran guys on this forum.

AirTran Airways is beefing up its flight offerings out of Milwaukee, with an announcement today that it has launched additional flights from General Mitchell International Airport.
The flight expansion began Saturday with nonstop service to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington, D.C., and continues today with the start of nonstop seasonal flights to the Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, and New York (La Guardia). On May 21, the airline will launch nonstop service to Boston, San Diego, and Las Vegas.

AirTran mentioned its expansion plans in January, when it said it made $52.7 million, or 56 cents a share, for all of 2007. The airline wants to establish the Wisconsin city as a regional base as it builds its presence in the Midwest, and has said it could certainly be a second hub.
Milwaukee also happens to be the chief hub of Midwest Airlines, which AirTran tried unsuccessfully to acquire last year.
With the addition of these new flights, AirTran Airways said it will provide 20 peak day departures to 13 nonstop destinations from Milwaukee.

Flywolf.... I was in recurrent not too long ago. CP says MKE doing very well. And I have no reason not to believe our CP. We might just have the best CP in the industry. He calls it like he sees it and doesn't really blow any smoke up are arses. For the most part, thats who all AAI managment is. He said that we are OK for a while, but if oil stays where it is everyone is in big trouble. Said the money AAI raised bought us about an additional year of operation at the current fuel prices. AAI had a worst case scenerio business plan of oil at $110 a barrel. Two weeks after the plan went into affect oil was over $110 a barrel. They went back to the drawing board and came up with business plans for $125 a barrel and another one at $150 a barrel... Lets just say $150 doesn't sound too good.. Everything is on the table at that point. In other words.... MKE is doing OK for AAI at this point (no routes making a ton of money). I wouldn't plan on any reductions, but you may see a city or two added if the right scenerio presents itself...

The plural form of "aircraft" is "aircraft." If you are going to fly "aircraft," you might want to know how to use it in a sentence.

Amen - was thinking the same thing. Up there with plural of "deer..." it's...um...deer.

CNN just ran a story in which it refered to how many "aircrafts" a certain airline will park. Get the FI spelling police on it right away!!!

While we're at it you should never start a sentence with the word "And". Also, remember to use a period at the end of your sentences. A quotation mark isn't the proper end of a sentence.
