MIDWAY/USAIR

50% of the seats will go to USAir mainline furloughees.

One stipulation is that they reach "long term agreements with the pilot and flight attendant unions".

So where do the furloughed MIDWAY RJ folks fit in to all of this mess. Who gets the higher seniority, the out the door since August MIDWAY folks or the mainline USAIR folks??(I'm not sure when USAIR actually started furloughing prior to 9/11) Ought to be interesting to see the way this is hammered out!

I heard the US Airways pilots will be put at the bottom of the list. Not sure about the FA's. Hopefully an agreement between the pilots and management will be met before the early August deadline so they can get back to work soon.
