I don't want to fight because look at what happens to people who do fight...... My theory is secure growth and upgrade now then live to fight another day.
Hey D'ooshbag, you're completely full of sh!t.

Here you say live to fight another day. But, who's gonna fight? You, individually? Nope, you're a pu$$y. Two sentences prior to this you say you don't want to fight; bad things happen to those who stand up with a set of balls. Which is it? Are you gonna fight or not? And if it's not you that'll fight another day, who's it gonna be? Oh, I dunno, a UNION maybe??

Are you really that retarded, or are you just a huge, flaming troll who stirs things up here and then sits back to jerk off while watching the results?

The creditors commitee should step in at some point and provide exit finacing without the 8% margin.

I'm curious... I thought the creditors committee was the group of companies/organizations that the bankrupt company owes money? Would they be willing to place even more money into this company and expand their potential losses???

I say live to fight another day because this isn't the right market to be fighting. You do your best to hang on to what youve got then fight when the supply and demand scale is tipped in your favor. Basically you fight when you have nothing to lose and thats the only time. The problem is ALPA is gonna demand huge raises again some day then times will get tough and paycuts will be brought out all over again. Pattern bargaining is truly old and warn out. Time for contracts right in the middle.

hey big D, you're giving black people a bad name.

why because I don't like unions? all im speaking is the truth nothing more nothing less. On a side note the F/As CHAOS campaign sounds like a joke. Sabotage is more like it.Oh well no worries the judge won't allow a strike anyway otherwise he wouldn't have voided the deal.

I take the paycut to save my job so I still have money to bring home for the family. Going to the unemployment line is worse on a family than having a job, therefore I put my family first. Im not in this buisness to get atta boys from other pilots while i stand in the unemployment line. Family first, live to fight another day at work

And what happens when the paycuts taken put your pay so low your income no longer allows you to feed and house your family?

well, unions are another form of managment, but they mostly help you, while the other management does not.....i am not saying ALPA does not neeed fixing, it does, but right now we need to work together as unions to keep this crap under control.....i might add, take a look at that judge with the heavy heart, how much you want to bet he is retired and sitting on some obscure carl polad companies board of director........raking it in for this crap...

Did anyone listen to the conference call this evening? I missed it, but was wondering what the gist of it was.

yeah that conference call...bunch of crap, it was full........so i could not logg on

Link works... It was almost funny watching as all of the CHAOS shirts lined up behind her.

Those FAs looked like a bunch of preschoolers lining up to get into the shot. Talk about a lack of professionalism.

Evenson's statement about the beauty of CHAOS won't get them much sympathy either.

Former XJ Saab FO here, been on the street since Feb 15th and moved on but am willing to help out in any way I can. I'll see you in MSP/DTW/MEM with a sign in my hand!

One thing also important to report, NWA has no plan for a Mesaba strike. When the mechanics started the whole situation, NWA was going through the motions months before that went down. Which leads me to believe there will not be a strike at XJ, or at least not anytime soon.

Anyone who believes there will be a strike hasn't watched the news for the past 5 years. 11th hour negotiations will be reached at the detriment of the crews. /yawn

You're exactly right. If XJ pilots went on strike, that would make the already unstable situation at Northwest even worse. If NW wasn't in CH. 11 I could see a strike being possible or likely. Even though Mesaba is a separate company, there are still hundreds of NW flights that would be disrupted if there is a strike. There is no way Doug wants to see that happen right now. A last minute deal will be negotiated with the unions getting the shorter end of the deal. As always.

good luck to you all. I am sure things will pan out in the future, it is just a rough ride for now. God bless....

I hope you're right. It's hard to get excited about 49 beat up, dirty, smelly, pink saabs.

Good luck to you guys but I get the feeling NWA just don't care. They will just issue a contract request for 49 Saab's.Sad Sad.

You do know they are beating you guys into the ground so flying 76 seat jets at 50 seat rates looks good right? They are breaking the unions to merger the company into another, Delta. They want you on Skywest rates.

Are you suggesting Mesaba will be getting 76 seaters and Northwest is just waiting to make the announcement until a TA is reached with the unions and management?

No, there are only a select group of people who would know the answer to that question, and i'm not one of them. Even Steenland probably doesn't know.

D'AngeloYOU ARE the biggest tool on this board.

Some 70 years ago in Europe the Nazi's came calling in the middle of the night-
At first they came and took the educated. No one stood up for them.
Then they came for the Jews. No one stood up for them.
Then they came for the Christians. No one stood up for them.

Where do you fit in? I guess the "it can't happen to me mentality" is all you have? "Live to fight another day"??WTFO??

I pitty you, because you are a sheep that is being taken to slaughter.

Time to draw a line in the sand.

Good luck my Union Brothers and Sisters.

Former ALPA member and current Teamster brother behind you all the way.

Take this company down. I hate to say it, but you guys will make more money collecting unemployment than you will with your future contract.

Take it down. Then maybe some of the fat cats will realize your labor is not free. These MGMT A-holes are living in the 40s.

Take down these arrogant thieves.

Good Luck.
