hey for all of you that are coming to training at XJ, some advice. when you are told you must know your flows and your profiles BEFORE SIMS, do us all a favor and know them....study them.......dont be an a$$ and show up like my sim partner and not even know his acceptance flow.....waisting my sim time and my training........oh and know JEP plates before the sim......jesus, NOS plates will not help you. oh, do not give idiotic advice to your captain......no you do not know more than he or she does......oh, and if you are going to the jet, does not mean you are better, or special........it means you are still on the bottom of the senority list.........oh oh yes, and will upgrade to the saab.......good luck
I got this from Eaglelounge, check this out and learn.....
"I just finished ERJ Captain transition and we had 18 new hires. More than half had issues in the sim. Unsats....getting yanked out of sim to do additional CSI training because flows, checklist and autopilot knowledge were bad. If your low time and flying Cessnas etc.....my best advice would be to get to know how autopilots work in jet aircraft......One of the ways is to buy a FltSim program and practice BEFORE coming to training. It will payoff when you start sim and finish with no issues. GOOD LUCK...."
Now you see, THIS GUY CAN REALLY CALL HIMSELF A PROFESSIONAL. I can see why Flybet3 would think you were being a d*** bag. I'm not calling you a d*** bag let me set the record straight, but I can see why you would come off as the bad guy. Remember it's not what you say, but how you say it that counts. Good night.
Anyway, anyone else hired recently as a captain or FO?
