I have no family members that work for (or have ever worked for) DL. Sorry.

You can post that picture if you want. I accidentally left my sunglasses in my car a couple months ago and wore them at work. Same reason I had them on in that picture that was taken almost 5 years ago.

The airplane doesn't flip over and crash if someone wears elvis sunglasses.

Hey DennyCRJ -

That may have been the truth 10 years ago but in the post-9/11, post-bankruptcy, crappy economy world that we have seen over the last several years, that statement is an overgeneralization. Just because you made it out of a regional in under 10 years doesn't mean everyone can or will.

Someone stays longer than 10 years so it has to be because he has "violations" or "family issues"? Why don't you just say, "F/O's are starving? LET THEM EAT CAKE!"

I don't consider myself "ultradefensive" either. Not everyone is willing to bail for the first major or national that is hiring. I know many 10+ year regional pilots who could have gone to United (as some did) in the past few years. Know where they would be now (or soon)? On the street.

This industry has changed. Maybe you should take a look around. Going to a major is not nearly as easy or desirable as it was 10 years ago. But what do you care? Your at one, right? So everyone else still at a regional is lazy, guilty of a crime, or can't say no to the wife, huh?

Enjoy life at the top. It will be a short stay.

And you think SEVEN is delusional? Take a look in the mirror.

Well said.
Hey "pee on your nuckles" you might want to try to sound a little less self-absorbed next time.:puke:

I figured you would reply back quickly.

Let's see, I was on the jumpseat of this blonde headed brauma while she taxied out of a non-controlled ramp area not too many years ago. Casino Air just called for taxi in front of us. This gal taxied up behind the 737 in their blind spot and just as the 737 started movement she goosed it to take pole position. Of course the 737 was startled and did some heavy breaking during the turn out. This gal flys by and has the audasity to call them idiots.

Now, anytime I'm in someone else's blind spot during taxi, I will always yield to them. However, not this adult Delta new hire, carrying her new firearm on her 40" waist. No, she takes poll position and calls the crew idiots.

Delta has hired a few good ones in the last round of hiring. You are one of them.

I just heard of another one too. This guy will take a beat down for all the family's he has destroyed over the years at PCL. I promise to all my Black Sheep, that the day I see him in ATL...... We will dance in the concourse. Delta: hiring only the best people and pilots.

You have a connection in Delta. They did not cold call you because of your experience level. Liar.

Isn't that how it works? Who you know will get you the job, what you know will keep you the job? Makes no sense to be bagging on someone because they have a connection.

My point was that the vast majority of pilots at regionals don't make it to 10 years. Eagle and Horizon are a bit off of the norm due to ultra long upgrade times. They have their reasons for staying- some be it unhireable or some have other reasons (family and living in base as has been mentioned).

I figured the ultradefensive would jump on it- but my statement was primarily the truth.

You are a total, arrogant d-bag.

The vast majority of pilots who get hired by a major at the age of 25 have small weiners. Makes about as much sense as what you said, chief.

Figures... I wouldn't have minded at all if they hadn't first promised them to Comair only to bend us over 2 weeks later.
