Most don't have to stay in the regionals beyond 10 years. Once you get someone who's been there longer than that...there's either a history of violations or other family issues. On occassion you find someone who just wants to stay- but that is rare.

Really... And what is the upgrade time at Eagle these days?

Simply the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

I have flown with MANY 20+ year pilots at ASA. Most were tremendous pilots. I'm sure the VAST majority have no violations or DUI's, etc.

Many were caught at the furlough times in the late 90's as 8-10 yr pilots. When the hiring started back, they were now near 15 years and it made no sense to start over at a Major. If they would have taken that leap, most, if not all, would have been furloughed once or twice more.

Don't be silly.
