For 4 years 1200 pilots paid 9000 dollars each to get hired and get paid 14 dollars per hour on the 1900.

I thought it was 5 years, 1300 pilots paying $10k for $13/hr? Ya we got your point: turd then turd now. What was the point of your last post?

I never blasted Mesa. I'm actually a big Mesa supporter. Back when the XJT MEC heard that DAL wanted to get rid of Mesa, there were rumblings that maybe XJT would get some of those aircraft and do some flying for DAL with them (we already had a CPA with DAL flying out of LAX at the time), I was a huge proponent of bringing their pilots to XJT with seniority and longevity. This was still in the golden age of XJT by the way.

Mesa pilots have done well considering who their CEO is.

I paid nothing also.

Best of luck, but Chris C your MEC chair did not tell you the whole thing about Mesa.

Oh, BTW because of high seniority Mesa has the highest paid pilots. It seems to me that many of you just want to live in the past.

But when a 15 year FO on those Mesa RJ earn less than a 2nd yr FO on some other US Air feeder... that math doesn't really work out.

Mesa F/O pay tops out at year 7, CA pay at year 20!

Wow.. Just a few more years and I'll be making the big bucks.

Thank Johnny....

while you couldn't get a day off to save your own life due to Mesa Incompetence, JO and the hunta were living it up in an Oahu beachfront mansion, all on YV's Dime....and blowing money in Various psuedo-Hedge Fund deals in China......is Peter the Peter Murnane still in charge of Corporate Manners? Stripper Pole installations? What a fine group of shysters....

Was that the guy who said he was surfing porn on the company computer?

Ancient History

Yes, that was him.

Guys,

That was ancient history, you guys need to get with the times. Muname has been gone for 3 years, and Mesa is a different compan today. But a reputation is a difficult thing to change.

Not so ancient history with Mesa. He is still going after the "Aloha Airlines" Trademark.

Actually the court prevented Mesa from using the Aloha imagery/name. I think Aloha's old parent company wound up buying it.

Actually Yucaipa took it against money owed. They are under court order not to sell it to mesa but you know..

Mesa almost had it in 2009 but the judge reversed a public sale after mesa and Yucaipa attorneys closed the doors on a hnl newspaper reporter...

History is still being written.

Mesa has come a long long way in two years, why do you persist in bringing up the past.

I'm not a Mesa hata'.... I just consider myself a realist. The company has many -- if not most -- of the same people in key positions, has pissed off most major "partner" airlines in the country, and is at the mercy of Doug Parker... how is this a bright future?

S.E.C vs Jonathan G. Ornstein (1992) Ironic how this dumas drove it all into the ground, fleeced it for all he could is now PART OWNER of the New Mesa? Life is fair.....

You say mesa is a different place. I say this place is different after MESA.

Aloha!

Had JO just waited a few days before announcing the deal with Yucaipa, the sale would have gone through. His haste is what got him in trouble, twice.
