I think I should clarify my previous statement. I realize there are people who have made a career at MESA. If it came to the point where they were out of work, I would feel very bad for them. I have to admit I don't know how far the furloughs are now.

I do realize that furloughs can mean a degradation of QOL for the ones who get to remain also. In times like these, it is easy to overlook sliding backwards when it may seem that we are all just lucky to have a job.

As far as I'm concerned, I have full respect for any career pilot at MESA. Not that those men and women need my blessing in any way. I hope the best for them. They are fighting to make it a better place. I think it's been a difficult road at times. I think they have trained a lot of pilots that are at many other airlines now. Sorry that I forgot to mention that earlier.
