This statement implies that there is a due process in "taking it back," or some kind of logical outcome or solution as a result of concerted effort.

This is just an empty premise. Sounds great, but will never work.

ALPA cannot lead a concerted effort of pilot groups that have divergent interests, are in competition with each other, and sometimes are junior members even at their own negotiations.

A better solution is an independent union for each carrier, representing only that carrier, and affiliated with others like the http://www.capapilots.org/ model.

Well, if ALPA could snap their fingers and solve all the problems without going through a process, don't you think they would have done it?

Maybe it wont work but if you dont try you will never know.

ALPA leads a concerted effort to help all airline pilots. There are many interests that all airline pilots have in common. CAPA is a perfect example of that.
