FL410 "sucks"?

Yeah, it does. Not to mention that it probably has to step climb to get to even FL410. Any of the airframes it is competing with can do FL410 or higher right off the bat and have a quieter flight with less weather and turbulence.

Yes, you'd have to step climb a CL850/CRJ2 to FL410.

Besides, comparing the performance of a dedicated ultra-long range widebody bizjet to a CRJ conversion is hardly apples-to-apples.

The CRJ is attractive because of its large cabin at a relatively low price point, but let's not go calling it something that its not...a direct competitor to the GLEX/Gulfstream family.

Fair enough, lets call apples apples and call it a beat up old CRJ with a new paint job and fancy seats. For 19 million it really isnt that much of a great deal considering the airframe time and amount of abuse from its former life.

I agree with your previous post that much of the operators will be European due to its lack of range. Its usefull envolope is very limited which will prevent it from becoming a common site at your local FBO. What I can see it getting use as is some sort of corporate shuttle like some companies use the old DoJets and ERJs for. Fortune 500 CEOs and the super rich? No way.
