this is SWA!! Babes, all of 'em.
I DH on SWA all the time and all I see are fruit loops, not that there's anything wrong with that.

I've never picked up any stinkin' trips on my days off. I can find much more enjoyable things to do with my time rather than get radiated in a giant beer can, to each his own though.

Yep. I agree. I only pick up open time on the rare occasion that I want to buy something that doesn't otherwise fit in my budget. Last time I did was almost two years ago.

What I'd like is the deal that they have at SWA where you can drop trips as long as someone else picks them up.

We have that at AWA as well. An electronic trade board where you post your trip and if someone wants it they just pick it up via computer/laptop. Scheduling is not involved in any form. Nice, but it's tempting to give away your paycheck every month!

Doesn't every airline have that? You know the dropping trips thing?

Nope, but at Cathay we get paid a salery each month no mater what. I get 6 weeks of vacation a year, and about 16 days off a month with no reserve! I was gone 4 days in November and got paid $5,900 after taxes! Each airline has advantages and disadvantages.. We can bid for days off and leave weeks, that's about it.

Old women? Right, we are not talking about TWA here...this is SWA!! Babes, all of 'em.
Reminds me of what one of you guys said to me when I was dating a SWA F/A...

SWA Captain: "I am sick of TWA guys coming over here and dating our flight attendants!
Me: Well it's not like we're gonna date our own.
SWA Captain: Good point.

True story, but it was all in fun in case I offended anybody.

75M--I'm assuming your wife is not home looking over your shoulder... ;) TC

No but she does that sometimes, so I need to be careful. I'll just have to explain that the game changed at TWA when we spooled up hiring in 1999/2000

Thats called poaching.

QUOTE: "I flew with a guy on my last trip that made 320,000 last year... Did he have a life? Not at all, and he paid $100,000 in Federal Income Tax. Not worth it to me."

A buddy told me one of his friends, who was a Captain at Eastern, was able to convince his wife he only made $1800 a month.

Smart guy, or bubble head wife,...not sure which.
