No, there is not.

Not surprising that you, Uncle Dunkle, would think there isn't. You also probably think they use purple unicorn blood to power the standby instruments in your barbie jet.

Here is the law on the GPO website in PDF format.

http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/PLAW-111publ216/pdf/PLAW-111publ216.pdf

Here is ALL ATPS website that explains it pretty well, and provides links.

There is a law not in effect until August 2013.

Now that seems to be the fact. Read all the material. Not just the beginning.

Not surprisingly, you edited your post a few above this once you realized what this conversation was about, you little dweeb.
You originally were complaining that a 500-hr. new hire would not be ready for the "1500 Hr. rule" by August. That is what I replied about, and quit wearing those ugly cowboy boots in the cockpit.

If the 1500 rule was in place today, there wouldn't be any pilots available, they can't even find pilots with 1000 now. How do regionals expect to have pilots with 1500 hours 2 years from now when there's going to be mass hiring at the majors indefintely?

It seems you have done similar, Bunkle. Leave my boots out of this. The rule of unintended consequences is that boots like the Ariat Roper get more attention, and thus you will see more of them.

I curse you with 100 new FOs wearing boots. Mmmm I love that western leather smell. If I flew with you I'd have a air freshner in my bag that gave off the deliciously sweet scent you so despise.

Giddy up!

Metro, are you a chick? The link for the boot you provided goes to a page for ordering boots and they ask for "womens size" and "womens width"

So, are you a chick? I've never saw a female pilot wear boot before. And I've NEVER saw a male pilot wear womens boots either!

Here's the site you linked to, figured I'd post it in order to preserve it...

No, but I suppose I owned myself on flightinfo once again. There's nothing else to do but admit it. :bomb:

Men's...... didn't look, sue me.

Nice catch!
