You know, sometimes I forget how much fun flying can be. I flew up the coast to Panama City (lots of people on the beach), landed and while I was waiting for fuel, an ATR (I think) taxied past me. The pilots waived to me and so did some of the passangers. I feel lucky to get paid to do what I love, and interact with others that do so also.

me too dude

not a day goes by that ill look back at the empenage and and move a bunch of controlls and tell myself that im the one doing it, that and look for the strings holdin me up

I'll second that....

And I enjoy strapping on A J3 when I'm off and barnstorming around between trees and hills just as much as the day job...probably more :)

Hopefully we never forget.

They were all just happy after hearing that Michael had been found innocent.

Aye. Tis unfortunate that many of our mates have never experienced the childish joy of landing on turf or racing through the air at 80 MPH, with the door open. 200 feet is a joy. FL 200 is a bore.

Are you sure you weren't in France when this happened?

Guess not, they weren't waving white flags.
