LogTen Pro is the best option for Mac.

I enjoy the program. You'll spend hours getting everything setup right, but then its no longer a hassle. You'll need a program like this for breaking down your flight times.

I used the program to print out 6500 hours($35 at Kinkos) for Emirates—they love the book.

Do they offer any support to change from logbook pro to log ten pro?

Common sense would say yes.

The staff used to personally export your logbook into a file Log Ten Pro format.

But I don't suggest you take them up on their kindness—you're better off learning the system trough trial and error because you may need to make changes on your own later!

Pilotjustin, let me know how you like it compared to Logbook Pro. I have been wanting to make the change too.

I have yet to pull the trigger on buying it. I want to make sure that the logbook pro file formats are going to be compatible to the log ten pro system. (hence the need for some assistance) Has anyone transferred files from logbook pro to log ten pro?
If it's not compatible, well then I guess there is no reason to buy it. I am not going to re-type all my entries again.

I did import files from Logbook Pro to LogTen Pro. They have a web forum similar to this one dedicated to helping pilot learn how to import, customize and update LogTen Pro.

Flybywire44, How do you like it compared to Logbook Pro?

I switched to LogTen Pro because it is the best logbook application for Mac Os X out there

If I was a PC guy I would have stayed with Logbook Pro, but NS Software will not develop a OS X version of their program. Instead they want you to install a windows emulator called VMware.

Just visit the www.coradine.com and www.nc-software.com and compare the two websites. This is definitely a case where you can judge a book by its cover!

I have never used any of the recent versions of Logbook Pro, but I'm completely happy with LogTen Pro. It works well, feels great and the community support is wonderful.
