CRJ2 - Short and its what gets filed with ATC

Actually it's "CR2" that gets filed...

I don't know what's proper but I put CRJ-200, CRJ-700, or CRJ-900

Does anyone think it matters to a potential employer which kind of CRJ one has flown?
I guess if your applying to another regional possibly, but what about majors, fracs, or other places?

When I was working on getting hired at various companies, most applications I filled out differentiated between the 200 and the 700 in the flight time break downs.




By the way.. the CRJ-200 is filed as "CRJ2" for ATC. ATC aircraft types are always 4 letters or digits.... e.g. B763, PA28, etc.

It says "CL-65" on the back of my certificate. If thats what the FAA calls it, thats what my logbook calls it.

I use CL-65-200 or CL-65-700.

I've never been questioned about "POS".

I've been using "Montreal Bomber".

I've found that "50PERSONPEOPLEPACKER" fits nicely in my logbook.

They could confuse that with an EMB 145 though.
